"Very pleasant, challenging and also beneficial"

1. Why did you choose to study at English Language Education Study Programee?

Because English is one of my favourite subjects, I thought I could improve my English skills in this Study Programee. In this growing era of English, it will be increasingly needed to see from today's young people who use English daily. And where the TOEFL is very much needed in the world of work, so it is an administrative requirement. TOEFL also makes it easier for us when going abroad.

2. What do you particularly enjoy about your degree programme?

I particularly enjoy CCU courses, where we study foreign cultures, and the ESC program, where we can get knowledge from famous international speakers. I like the program from one of the courses, the CCU course I got in semester 3. It's a study about understanding various foreign cultures in the world. We are taught to learn and practice these cultures, including dance, clothing, food, and other various famous icons in the country. It is fun, challenging and useful, not only learning about the English language itself but also some other culture that is different from ours. We even practice it like in the CCU course as the final exam project.

3. How would you sum up your overall experience of studying at the English Language Education Study Programee?

Very pleasant, challenging and also beneficial, not only learn about English but even though our country culture we can learn on several opportunities for courses. Challenging because they demand our culture and language of other countries, even practicing it during the final assistance and beneficial if we are going abroad, we already have an understanding and reduce the effect of culture shock.

4. What skills do you feel your time at English Language Education Study Programme has given you? 

My public speaking has improved, and my knowledge of the language and culture of other countries is getting wider. The skills that I got in the English education major, one of which is public speaking. I am shy to speak in front of many people, and in this Study Programee, I have learned to be braver in speaking up. Here, we also increase our ability to understand the culture and language of other countries and prepare for globalization. In Addition to the 2 things I have mentioned, One skill that I think is very useful in the world of work later is running an event or event. Because in English Language Education Study Programee, we will be faced with a program or final project to make an event from which I learn how to run an event properly. 

5. What are your plans for after you graduate?

I will immediately jump into the world of work and implement what I have learned while studying in the English Language Education Study Programee. However, if I have the opportunity to continue my studies, I will choose to continue my studies so that the understanding I have gained while in my bachelor's programme will be more profound in the magister programme
